Wedding Service Agreement
Terms and Conditions (easier to read)
I hereby state that I have personally viewed examples of Weinhardt Media's prior work and therefore approve of and agree to abide by Weinhardt Media’s creative decisions in the filming and editing process. I have also read the terms on the second page of this agreement and accept the conditions as listed. Client acknowledges that he/she is familiar with the Company’s portfolio and is requesting services with knowledge of the company’s style and that the Company’s work is constantly evolving; that the Company's services are of a unique and artistic nature; that the video may be different from video done by the company in the past; and that the videographer's own artistic judgment will be used to create videos consistent with our vision of the event, which may differ from the client's vision. Accordingly, client acknowledges that the videos shall not be subject to rejection on the basis of taste or aesthetic criteria.
A non-refundable down payment of 10% of total package is due upon booking and signing of contract. The remaining balance of the package is due 30 days prior to wedding day.
The client is solely responsible for securing permission from the site owner/operator for use of the production site as well as authority for WM to set up all necessary production equipment. It is understood that the quality of the production is dependent upon adequate lighting, camera/microphone positions and other conditions not under the control of WM.
WM is not responsible for poor audio if the groom does not agree to wear a lapel microphone, dark or grainy video resulting from inadequate lighting or the refusal of the client to allow supplemental lighting at the reception, or electrical or mechanical malfunctions on location that are beyond our control.
WM will establish an arrival time for the wedding date with the client prior to that date and remain on duty for the number of hours included in the package. Coverage hours included in the package are for the wedding date only and must be consecutive. This block of time includes set-up and tear-down of equipment, transportation between venues and meal breaks.
WM reserves the right to discontinue filming in any situation (ex: rain, extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous locations) that could put the safety of the videographer or equipment at risk.
Two cameras will be used to film the ceremony. The aesthetic quality of this video mix may vary depending upon the logistics of the wedding site and the permitted camera placement. One camera will be used at all other times. Disclaimer: Second shooter will add another manned camera to mixed in for different angles.
Because WM is generally on the same schedule as the bride and groom, the client agrees to provide WM with a reasonable meal during the time that the bride and groom are served at the reception. If this meal is provided out of view of the reception activities, WM cannot guarantee that any events occurring during the videographer’s absence will be captured.
Any expenses incurred by WM not pertaining directly to the production of the video (ex: out-of-town accommodations, parking, shipping, etc.) will be added to the client’s balance.
The completed video will be considered a finished product, and any additional requested revisions will be added to the client’s balance at the prorated rate of $100 per hour.
The original footage will remain the property of WM. The client gives WM permission to use this footage for marketing purposes. The client is responsible for all copyrighted music used in the wedding video.
If WM fails to comply with the terms of this agreement due to any event or at beyond the control of WM, including but not limited to illness, accident, labor disputes, acts of God and other catastrophes, or uncontrollable and unforeseeable equipment failure, WM liability is limited only to a refund of all monies received
The Documentary film: Is a Film that includes Assortment of pre wedding activities, entire ceremony, assortment of post ceremony activities and key parts of the reception to include but not limited to, introductions, first dance, parent dances, all toasts, cake cutting, assortment of dancing clips, and grand get away if applicable. Delivery of this film ranges 6 months to 1 year (second shooter recommended)
The Hightlight Film: Is an artistically mixture of shorter clips from throughout the day. Will contain of mixture of audio captured throughout the day and licensed music obtained through artlist.io. Because WM is constantly evolving their style some aesthetics may vary from previous highlight films. Delivery of this film ranges 3 to 6 months.
1-2 minute social media teaser: WM will create a 1-2 minute teaser for the client to share on social media. This teaser will usually be completed within 1 month of the wedding day. This will also be featured on all WM social accounts.
RAW FOOTAGE: Contains many short clips, often duplicate setup shots, etc. it's not meant to be watched as is. We use a flat color profile which is and that all RAW footage is ungraded meaning RAW footage does not look like edited film(s). All Raw footage is still copyrighted and for back up and personal use only. Client does not have permission to hire another editor and use our footage to post new films to social media as their own, as we still own the copy write. Client can however edit and share films that they edit themselves and distribute all films however they choose.
Final films will be uploaded to Wedflow.co where the films can be viewed and downloaded, or placed on a USB drive if raw footage add on is chosen.
Any special requests overriding the terms and conditions of this contract must be specified and a revised contract will be made.
